The State of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Emergency Management

A rapidly changing environment requires that decision makers are capable of quickly understanding community needs, including the needs of underserved populations and traditionally underrepresented groups. The following survey is intended to capture the perceived state of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the emergency management community.

 

As we work to build a global community of practice, our goal is to build partnerships and provide recommendations to help government, private sector, and non-governmental organizations improve their internal operations, and both understand risk and vulnerability to make equitable decisions to foster smart growth in disaster-affected communities.
